Frequently Asked Questions
Plain answers to the questions people ask before buying from Rareva. Everything here matches our policies; where a policy says more, it is linked.
Who is Rareva Jewels?
Rareva Jewels is a New York fine jewelry house that grows its own lab-grown diamonds. The company has grown diamonds since 2019 and opened Rareva Jewels, the jewelry house, in September 2026. Every piece is made to order and set by hand in New York. The showroom is at 15 West 47th Street, 10th Floor, in Manhattan's Diamond District. The legal entity is Orva Jewels Inc, trading as Rareva Jewels. Rareva is not connected to Reeva Rare, Reva Jewels or Rarever.
Where do Rareva's diamonds come from?
Every diamond is grown in Rareva's own CVD reactors, more than five hundred of them. Each stone starts as a seed crystal in a chemical vapor deposition chamber and grows over several weeks, then is cut, graded and set. Rareva does not buy stones from outside growers.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is a diamond. It is chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond, with the same hardness and the same sparkle when cut well. The only difference is origin: grown in a controlled environment rather than extracted from the earth.
Are Rareva diamonds certified?
Yes. Every center stone is graded independently by IGI, GIA or HRD for cut, color, clarity and carat. The report number is laser-inscribed on the diamond's girdle so it can be matched to its certificate, and the report travels with the piece.
What does Rareva sell?
Engagement rings in ten diamond shapes and twelve setting styles, wedding bands and eternity bands, anniversary bands, men's wedding bands and rings, diamond stud earrings, hoops, huggies, drops, climbers and clusters, pendants, diamond necklaces and tennis necklaces, tennis bracelets, bangles, chain, station and bolo bracelets, and curated gift edits by occasion and budget. Every piece is set with lab-grown diamonds grown in-house.
Which metals are available?
10K, 14K and 18K gold in white, yellow and rose, platinum, and sterling silver, depending on the design. Diamond quality options on most pieces are D to E color with VVS clarity, or F to G color with VS clarity.
Is every piece made to order?
Yes. Nothing is kept in a warehouse. Once you order, the diamond is grown or selected, independently graded and set by hand for you. Most pieces take 3 to 4 business days to make. Bespoke work takes longer and Rareva gives you a date before you commit.
How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Shipping is free on every order, anywhere in the world, with no minimum. Every parcel is insured door to door, sent in plain unbranded packaging, released only against a signature, and import duties are paid by Rareva. After the 3 to 4 day making time, delivery takes 4 to 5 business days within the United States and 5 to 9 business days internationally, by FedEx, UPS, DHL or USPS.
What is the return policy?
Any standard piece can be returned within thirty days of delivery, unworn and in its original packaging, for a full refund to the original payment method within ten business days. Rareva emails a prepaid insured return label; do not post anything back before the return is confirmed. Engraved, personalized or resized pieces can still be returned within thirty days with a 10 percent restocking fee. Fully bespoke commissions cannot be returned. Orders can be cancelled free within 24 hours of placing them.
Does Rareva offer free resizing?
Yes. Resizing is complimentary, within 30 days of delivery and as part of the warranty afterwards. Rings are made to order in your selected US size.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Rareva offers a lifetime warranty on the craftsmanship of the setting and the work, with complimentary resizing, cleaning and re-polishing as routine care. Rareva also keeps a record of what each customer owns.
Can I have a piece engraved?
Yes. Engraving and personalization are free, chosen at checkout or requested within 24 hours of ordering.
Can I see the jewelry in person?
Yes. The showroom is at 15 West 47th Street, 10th Floor, New York, NY 10036, in the Diamond District. Walk in whenever the showroom is open or book an appointment. Loose certified diamonds are kept on hand so you can compare stones under a loupe with the certificate beside them. Finished pieces can also be collected from the showroom instead of being shipped.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes. Customers outside New York can book a video appointment through the Book a Virtual Appointment page and go through stones, settings and sizing with a Rareva specialist.
Does Rareva make custom or bespoke jewelry?
Yes. Bring a sketch, a photo or an idea. Rareva sits with you on the design, grows or selects the diamond to match, builds the setting by hand and shows you every step before the piece is cast. Rareva will also build a ring around a stone you have chosen.
